Steam distilled from the wood and branches of Amyris Balsamifera grown in Jamaica, this 100% pure essential oil delivers a rich, balsamic-woody aroma that closely resembles true sandalwood — making it a highly valued and sustainable alternative.

Known locally as “candle wood” for its high oil content and ability to burn like a candle, Amyris has long been prized for its grounding, tranquil qualities.

Please note: Amyris (West Indian Sandalwood) is botanically distinct from true sandalwood (Santalum Album). It offers similar aromatic qualities at a more accessible price point.
