Known as the “oil of tranquillity” in India and Sri Lanka, vetiver has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic practice, perfumery, and traditional medicine — and remains one of the most prized base notes in natural fragrance and one of the most valued oils for grounding, stress relief, and deep relaxation today.

Dilution guidance: Dilute to 1–2% in a carrier oil for topical use (approx. 6–12 drops per 30ml). Vetiver is a thick, viscous oil — gently warm the bottle before use to aid pouring. Not for use neat on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid during pregnancy.

Blending notes: Vetiver adds a deep, smoky earthiness that anchors and extends any blend. Pair with frankincense and sandalwood for a deeply grounding meditation blend, or with bergamot and lavender for a calming, stress-relieving diffuser combination.
