Latin Name: Cinnamomum Zeylanicum  |  Plant Part: Leaves & Twigs  |  Origin: Sri Lanka  |  Extraction: Steam Distillation

Warm, spicy, and deeply comforting — Cinnamon is one of aromatherapy's most invigorating and mood-warming oils. Steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon) grown in Sri Lanka, this 100% pure essential oil delivers a rich, sweet-spicy aroma with warm, woody undertones that is both stimulating and deeply reassuring.

One of the world's oldest and most treasured aromatic spices, cinnamon has been used in traditional medicine, ritual, and perfumery across cultures for millennia — and remains one of the most valued oils for warming circulation blends, immune support, and uplifting the mood in winter months.

  • Rich, warm, sweet-spicy aroma with woody undertones — stimulating and comforting
  • Widely used in warming circulation and massage blends — invigorating and toning
  • Popular in immune-supporting diffuser blends — especially during cold and flu season
  • Uplifting and mood-warming when diffused — eases low mood and mental fatigue
  • Pairs beautifully with clove, orange, frankincense, ginger, and black pepper
  • 100% pure, undiluted — no additives, carriers, or synthetic fragrance

Dilution guidance: Cinnamon leaf oil is a known skin sensitiser — dilute to a maximum of 0.6% for topical use (approx. 3–4 drops per 30ml carrier oil). Do not use neat on skin. Perform a patch test before use. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid during pregnancy.

⚠️ Safety note: Cinnamon leaf oil is a dermal sensitiser and can cause skin irritation or allergic reaction, especially at higher concentrations. Always use at low dilution and avoid use on sensitive, damaged, or broken skin. Not recommended for use on children. For external use only.

Blending notes: Cinnamon adds a rich, spicy warmth to blends. Pair with orange and clove for a classic festive diffuser blend, or with ginger and black pepper for a deeply warming circulation massage oil.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark place. Shelf life approximately 2–3 years from opening.
